Leading European Fashion Designer Partners with retail CHINA
Choosing China for Asian launch

COLD METHOD, one of Europe’s fastest growing fashion designers is partnering with retail CHINA limited of Hong Kong on a major expansion in China and Southeast Asia. The firms announced an exclusive 20-year deal for retail CHINA to introduce and develop retail channels for COLD METHOD in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. retail CHINA plans to develop a combination of channels including retail CHINA owned and operated COLD METHOD flagship shops, department store shop-in-shops, online retailing and distribution agreements through major retail chains in Hong Kong and Singapore. Excluding distribution agreements with other retail chains, retail CHINA plans to open and operate 53 retail points for COLD METHOD in China over the first 3 years of the agreement.

COLD METHOD is the fastest growing men's brand in Europe and is expanding rapidly globally. They have recently entered the US and Canada and are available in more than 500 selling points in Benelux, France, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain and Russia. For 2008, they feature continuous capsule ranges that include apparel and a full range of accessories The retail CHINA deal is their first Asian business venture and gives them access to the world's fastest growing, and youngest middle class. retail CHINA’s CEO, Janet De Silva says, “retail CHINA is excited about this partnership.
